MINUTES OF MEETINGS - 2005

An abridged version of some of the Minutes of Meetings held in 2005 appear in this section.

 
     
     
  Monday, 5 September 2005  
 


- The Club had entered a team in the North Coast 5-a-side competition where they lost both matches they played in. The manager claimed the results were due to the small squad he had at his disposal. The management passed a vote of confidence in him.

- The Night at the Riots had been a success despite the numbers attending being below forecast. It was proposed that tickets would be printed for all future events and each member would be obliged to purchase at least one in advance.

- Members were encouraged to visit the Club website which had been expanded in recent weeks.

- It was proposed that a letter of thanks be sent to the CD Club in recognition of their hospitality shown towards Club members both before and after the Azerbaijan match.

- The Treasurer reported that the Club was in strong financial position, although it was noted that some members had missed several meetings and their dues were in arrears.

- Details were given of the arrangements for the forthcoming match against England at Windsor Park.

 
  Monday, 1 August 2005  
 


- The treasurer reported that all bills had been paid and that the balance was healthy. 
 
- The details for the Night at the Riots were finalised and members were invited to sponsor "Rioters" for the evening.

- The club website was introduced to the members and suggestions for improvements were invited. The main request was for some form of Guestbook or comments section. It was decided by a unanimous vote that the Club should subscribe to a larger webspace provider.

- The sole member who is currently booked to travel to Malta for the friendly on 17 August gave an outline of the trip and advice on how a late booking could be made.

- Arrangements for the Azerbaijan match on 3 September were discussed. Details will appear on the Diary page.

- Arrangements for the England match on 7 September were discussed. Some members are hoping to make a day of it, with lunch in Belfast. Details will appear on the Diary page.

- "Football for All" wristbands were made available for sale.

- The North Coast 5-a-side tournament on 28 August was discussed and as there was enough interest from the members, it was decided to enter a team.
